Completing Easter activities at the White House

US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden launched an Easter egg-rolling activity, resuming an annual children’s tradition that dates back to 1878.

Biden blew the whistle to begin the celebration of children rolling pastel-colored eggs on the White House’s South Lawn using long-handled spoons. Light rain did not affect the event, which was attended by 30,000 children and adults. This event was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.
