Conspiracy between Hezbollah, FPM to abolish the elections

The countdown for the Parliamentary elections has started, and fears are growing among the ruling political forces from this entitlement that is likely to shake the pillars of their majority.

Starting from here, political parties started preparing for a new plan that would postpone the elections or even abolish it, by reconsidering the issue of the sixteenth constituency for expatriate voting. The ‘Strong Lebanon’ bloc submitted a draft repetitive, expedited law aiming to abolish Article Two of the electoral law amendments that suspended work in this constituency, on condition that Hezbollah meets with it, and ensures the approval of the Parliament Speaker to move forward in this direction.

It is worth noting that a mere return to raising the election law in Parliament would undermine the entire election, and this is in common interest between the Free Patriotic Movement and Hezbollah. Will these endeavors succeed?

Canceling the elections, would serve the interest of one scenario, which is extending the term of the current Parliament until the next Presidential Elections, so will the changing forces allow that?
