And if the horses died, the pride of their owners, today they meet the same fate as them. Malnutrition, hunger, lack of health care, and the reason? The high cost of fodder and medical treatments… and the result? Weak horses – frail, who have lost their vitality, integrity and health, are falling apart, inside the farms that shelter them.
