Diet helps prevent heart disease

The American Heart Association explained that diet is not the only factor in preventing heart disease, but it is very important not only in reducing the risk of the disease, but also in managing cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

The Medical Association revealed the types of heart-healthy foods, including leafy vegetables and fresh, frozen, or canned fruits, in addition to grains, legumes, and dairy products, along with eating fish and seafood at least twice a week.
