Lebanese celebrate Easter this year amid a very difficult economic situation.
The owner of a chocolate shop assured to “Voice of Beirut International” correspondent, Ghassan Farran, “The situation has changed from what it was in the past. Whoever used to buy personal gifts oer for relatives, he restricted his buying within family”she added,“ We have reduced prices and the percentage of profits in order to be able to continue, and we hope that this period will pass quickly. ”
The hope remains that this Easter holiday will be a salvation for the Lebanese from suffering and a resurrection for Lebanon.
