Egypt’s pyramids, pharaohs in Nigeria

A new restaurant in the Nigerian city of Lagos drew notice after its proprietors elected to adorn its walls, floor, and ceiling with black and white drawings that resemble the Egyptian Pharaonic civilization.

Because the fees piqued the interest of the restaurant’s patrons, management appointed personnel to tour among them and educate them on the history of the Egyptian pyramids and pharaohs.
These paintings, which took three months to complete, were created by a Nigerian painter who wanted to combine modern and old art.
