The Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced that an attack with twelve ballistic missiles targeted at dawn the region’s capital, Erbil, and an American consulate under construction, noting that the missiles were launched from outside the borders of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, specifically from the east.
And while the Iranian television reported that the missile attacks on Erbil targeted secret bases of the Israeli Mossad, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards adopted the attack, indicating that it came in response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation.
