For health reasons, a robot turns into a student

A robot has joined a class in one of Berlin’s schools in Germany on behalf of Joshua, the seven-year-old boy who wasn’t able to attend school in person because he has a tube in his neck due to a severe lung disease.

Thanks to the move, Joshua hasn’t missed his school year and can still interact with his teacher and classmates through the robot sitting in his seat and flashing a signal when he wants to say something.

It is noteworthy that this robot is a private initiative funded by the local council in one of the districts of Berlin, and it was invented during the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, but after the success of this experiment, it is likely to be more relied upon.
