Today’s fuel pricess have skyrocketed, and the price of a gas canister has surpassed half a million Lebanese pounds. The following are the new prices: The 95 octane gasoline tank rose by 23,000 LBP reaching 507,000 LBP and the 98 octane tank increased by 10,000 LBP to 599,000 LBP.
This rise was caused by an increase in the price of a kiloliter of imported gasoline, which was about 41 dollars, as well as calculating the price of the dollar using the exchange platform 22,600 rather than 22,500. According to Sawt Beirut International sources, there is no set pricing for fuel because the persistent issue is securing funds.
