Fuel prices to be collected in USD, right after elections!

How are fuel costs today, high or low? One of Lebanon’s most pressing everyday worries, which is close to the national minimum wage. Today, the price of a can of gasoline surpassed the – 500 thousand mark, causing fuel prices to skyrocket. What are the Lebanese’s thoughts on this?

All data so far indicate that oil prices will continue to rise locally, especially with geopolitical developments externally and the rise of the dollar locally… and with expectations that the Banque du Liban will stop securing the dollar on the price of an exchange platform for importing gasoline by June.

Those in charge of finding answers to this issue are not “responsible”, while the Ministry of Energy doesn’t even consider interfering to tackle the issue, thus prompting the Lebanese to suffer alone without responsibility or oversight…

The irony is that most Lebanese have regrettably acclimated to the massive price increase, but what is sad is the dilution of answers and the lack of officials to handle them, so that we will ultimately face humiliated lineups.
