Future Movement supporter Hassouna is a Cancer drug monopolist

Rabei Hassouna, the former head of the Syndicate of Pharmacists, who is a member of the Future Movement’s political bureau and a former candidate on the movement’s lists in the parliamentary elections, is arrested by the army intelligence. In its official statement, the army announced that it had seized “a huge quantity of medicines prepared to be sold on the black market, a large part of them are the treatment of cancer patients, some of them expired,” noting that it had handed over the seizures to the Ministry of Health based on the reference of the competent judiciary.

Minister of Health Hamad Hassan announced that the Ministry of Health will take “a new decision for the skeptics, and will freeze every warehouse license and the license of a pharmacist licensed under the name of the warehouse when violation occurs.”

As for the judiciary, Hassan explained that “the financial prosecutor, Judge Ali Ibrahim, will give the signal to take the necessary measures.”
