Bahaa Hariri, via his Twitter account, commented on the tragedy of the boat of death in Tripoli:

“A fresh calamity afflicts innocent inhabitants in Al-Fayha city, who are tired of living in a nation that no longer guarantees them with the most basic requirements of existence.”

“Who is to blame for a child’s death and the deaths of innocent people? Once again, we lament a failing, failed, inadequate state that is unconcerned with people’s worries! May God bless Lebanon for having such a system!” Bahaa Hariri regrets.
