Horses prancing through fire!

Hundreds of people gathered in Spain to watch the annual traditional show of horses prancing between fire, which was canceled last year due to the Corona pandemic.

The festival, in which more than a hundred horses participated, sparked criticism among the associations concerned with animal rights, but the organizers assure that the horses are not exposed to any harm and do not feel any pain.

It is said that this tradition dates back to the 18th century when an epidemic killed huge numbers of horses, and it is held, according to the organizers, to purify the horses and protect them from diseases and epidemics.
