Lamis’ heart beats owing to an electric machine, and in Lebanon, rationing may last up to 22 hours a day.

Lamis need a heart transplant and has registered as an organ donor with the National Association for Organ Donation in Lebanon.

Lamis found hope in France, and her name was added to the list of organ donors, and she was able to get everything she needed, except money.
