China has imposed exceptional health measures due to the outbreak of the Corona virus and its variants, in order to keep pace with the Winter Olympic Games, which will start in Beijing on February 4.

Among the most significant measures, robots will serve customers in the restaurants of the Olympic Village, to prevent any human mixing that may lead to Covid-19 infections on the sidelines of this huge sporting event.

Local and foreign journalists were the first to trial this electronic service, where meals were prepared entirely by robots, before placing them on advanced electronic equipment that fell from the ceiling to be delivered to customers who, in turn, sat at spaced tables and were surrounded by plastic bubbles to prevent infection between restaurant goers.
