Three Japanese companies have begun using a giant robot to repair faults in railway stations after testing it since the beginning of April, and it is scheduled to enter the markets in summer 2024.
This robot, which can operate at a height of ten meters and carry weights of up to forty kilograms, is guided by a team of workers and remote controls.
It is expected that this robot will usher in a new technological revolution by taking over tasks that endanger workers’ lives, thereby helping to reduce accidents caused by falls from great heights or being electrocuted.
