In numbers… Lebanese flock to buy cars!

Despite the dire living crisis, the movement of new car registrations improved during the first quarter of this year, as the number of new cars registered reached 1,573 cars, compared to 574 cars in the same period of 2021.
What do these numbers mean? Did the Lebanese really start rushing to buy cars?
Mansour stressed that the economic reforms will be austeritic for the citizen, even if the elections are held on their scheduled date
Many people resorted to buying a new car, before the increase in customs duties and the budget approval for the year 2022
Mouawad appealed to the consciences of all officials to work to mitigate the repercussions of the economic crisis that affected the citizens and to save Lebanon’s fairs, which were affected like other vital sectors with the collapse of the living situation.
