People used to give away gold on all occasions, while the “good day’s” gold, is being sold today during the “dark days” we are living.  Even if consist of few grams, gold has become far beyond the reach of Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, or wedding anniversary, and has become among the 1500’s memories, so our days have turned from gold to 24 karat scrap.

So, young men and women of Lebanon, the engagement rings are now of fake jewelry “faux bijoux” just like as our rulers.
