“Iran’s promises are empty,” Tony Abi Najem tells SBI

“In Lebanon, we pray for miracles and beg for prayers,” Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati affirms, three weeks after his cabinet was established, which coincided with the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to Beirut, during which he announced his country’s intention to help Lebanon, bearing in mind that reforms in Lebanon are a difficult and dangerous journey.

Iranian proposals to Lebanon are not unusual, but given that Iran is requesting $10 billion from the US to help it overcome its problem, how can Tehran assist Beirut?

President Najib Mikati’s positive trip following the creation of the government appears to have come to an end, and everyone who wants to invest should keep an eye on the black market dollar in Lebanon, which appears to be the most difficult conflict with the rescue government.
