While the Parliamentary committees are studying the competition draft law and the possibility of suspending Article 5 related to exclusive agencies, the Ministry of Economy and Trade continues its visits to supermarkets to monitor the percentage of drop in commodity prices in line with the decline in the dollar exchange rate.

It is difficult to impose control on all stores and in all regions, therefore, despite the drop in dollar exchange rate by more than 30 percent, prices have decreased maximum by 15 percent. Will adopting the competition law be a solution to stop manipulation of prices by traders?
