The Japanese traditional costume known as “kimono” arrived in New York City, specifically at the Metropolitan Fashion Show.

The exhibition, which opened its doors today and continues until February 20, includes a collection of sixty designs of Japanese traditional dress. It is noteworthy that some of these designs were inspired by the eighteenth century, while others mimic the modern designs of the twentieth century, without missing the details that the kimono is famous for in terms of colors and fabrics.
