Khaled Abu Shakra: Hezbollah adopts a starvation system

The collapse of Lebanon was not a “destiny”, but a “crime” committed by the “mafia” of the authority – the banks, with premeditation and determination. This is what was shown by the report of the “United Nations Special Rapporteur on the issue of extreme poverty and human rights”, Olivier de Schutter, and this is what two people in Lebanon no longer dispute, and it has been saturated with criticism and analysis. However, what the report did not shed light on is the pivotal role of “Hezbollah” and its allies in oppressing and impoverishing the Lebanese at home and abroad.

Hezbollah and its allies from the Free Patriotic Movement and the Amal Movement have contributed to undermining the Lebanese economy and building a “starvation system” similar to the one in Iran and Syria. And that through a clear strategy. To talk about this issue, we were joined by the journalist specializing in economic affairs, Khaled Abu Shakra.
