Senior advisor for Global Energy Security and the newly appointed mediator in the U.S.-sponsored talks between Israel and Lebanon, Amos Hochstein confirmed that good progress has been made regarding the electricity crisis and the deal form importing gas from Egypt.

He said: “We are at the moment bridging the gaps to reach a deal regarding maritime border demarcation.”
