Lebanon is lagging behind the prospering Arab world

Lebanon has been ranked 145th in happiness indicator before Afghanistan, according to the World Happiness Report 2022, issued by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

The United Arab Emirates ranked first in the Arab world and 24th globally. The Lebanese people are suffering from internal crises that are constantly exacerbating, which raises the levels of unhappiness, tension, and psychological pressure.

The Lebanese are amazed about Expo 2020 in Dubai, after Beirut was a beacon for international conferences, and seminars.

Lebanese are looking at the experience of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Egypt, after it was ranked the 5th among the most developed countries for the year 2020, following the advice of the International Monetary Fund and other international institutions, to get out of the financial deficit and social crises that it has been suffering from for many years. While the Lebanese negotiations with the International Monetary Fund are still stagnant.

The Lebanese have followed the path of a political settlement between the military and politicians in Sudan, while the political situation and tensions in Lebanon are exacerbating without any practical solutions.

Iraq has regained the initiative in managing the national authority, and is preparing to return to the Arab ranks. Syria is lifting the rubble of war and proceeding to normalize its Arab relations, while Lebanon continues to cut its relations with the Gulf countries. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set the strategic vision 2030, while Lebanon lacks a plan to address the electricity crisis.

The Arab world is in prosperity and progress, and Lebanon is turning backward!
