Lebanon present in bin Salman’s regional tour

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman concluded his regional tour with a visit to Turkey, where he met President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest.

Before reaching Turkey, bin Salman landed in Amman, where he met Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who stressed Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in supporting the nation’s causes, while the Saudi Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to push for a new phase of cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
Bin Salman started his tour from Egypt, where he held talks with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Lebanon had a share in the joint statements issued at the conclusion of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visits, where there was an emphasis on the importance of Lebanon’s security, stability and territorial integrity, and the need to carry out reforms, provided that it would not be a starting point for any terrorist acts, and an incubator for terrorist organizations and groups, that destabilize the security and stability of the region, and not be source or transit for drug smuggling.
