The economic, financial and political crisis Lebanon is going through, has led to the closure of dozens of small, medium and large enterprises, and the curtailment of the work of tens of thousands of other institutions, and thus the dismissal of tens of thousands of workers and wage earners. Thus, the unemployment rate increased, and became close to 35% of the labor force, estimated by 1,340 million workers, which means that the number of unemployed people ranges between 470,000 and 500,000. Shocking figures from Lebanon, that matches the figures of poverty, immigration and the exchange rate of exacerbating suffering.
But is there an end to this tunnel, or is it a passage that leads to the bottom of the earth?!
About half of the Lebanese are now unemployed (not working), as for the rest of them, they work, but they are (not living).
