Lebanon’s independence… fact or lie?

Yes, we united in the year 43 and walked hand in hand demonstrations with the emotions of national unity. Yes, we gained our independence on ink and paper from the descendants of the Gallic countries. With mountains that protect its faith and a coast where its most wonderful potential emerges. But the dream of a glorious history was disturbed by the nightmare of the geography of borders and the geographies of sects. Until we reached what we have reached of hell, in its flames the rights of sects dance to Persian music. Was independence a lie?

The independence of the past was weak, but is the weak independence better than the lack of independence that we are experiencing today?
The 1958 revolution, the Cairo agreement, the events of 1972, the 1975 war, the Syrian occupation, illegal weapons… Many titles cannot be put together with the word Lebanon in a sentence useful for syntax.
On the 22nd of November of the year 43, the men of Independence left the small prison of Rashaya, to enter Lebanon after it in a large prison, where people began to mourn the days of the Mandate.
