The death toll at the hands of an American teenager in Texas rose yesterday to 21 victims, two of them teachers and 19 children from the “Robb Elementary” primary school, before he was confronted by a border guard and shot dead inside the school that includes 500 students.

Salvador Ramos was equipped with a pistol. After he killed his grandmother in the morning, he drove a pickup to the school, and started shooting “randomly.” Ramos injured 17 others, including 15 children who are being treated in hospitals, some of whom are in critical condition.
