Following the completion of the two rounds of expatriate elections, Interior Minister Bassam al-Mawlawi held a news conference to announce the adoption of new electronic vote-counting methods, which will be employed for the first time on Sunday, May 15th.

In front of the media present, an experiment was done for the electronic counting procedure, which followed the process of inputting the election results in the primary and upper registration committees.
