The choice is made by the state in respectable and wealthy countries. For example, every minister has the authority to make a decision to adopt it by legislation, with no preliminary or rationale… However, we are in Lebanon, a wonderland where the state begs for independence, therefore the situation is as follows:

Walid Nassar, Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, wishes, with love and respect, and in a low voice and extreme caution, that the state of Hezbollah and its media department put “less” slogans, pictures and symbols instead of ordering to completely remove them. Those slogans are raised on both sides of the road leading to Rafic Hariri International Airport.

Most of the Lebanese share these demands, given that we are living in Lebanon and not in Iran… stressing that the expansion of these images only reflects the state’s weakness in front of the statelet and the parties controlling it.

Lebanon, which has lost the image that it established for itself over the past years… is awaiting today the next few days, perhaps carrying a miracle in which the state will respond, even for once, to the decisions of the state and to what is in the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese!
