But restoring activity does not necessarily mean success, as the possibilities of failure have become much greater than the possibilities of success.

The main reason for the government’s failure: the two apparent positions of the President of the Republic and the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, and the hidden position of Hezbollah backed by Iran.

Michel Aoun and Gebran Bassil are maneuvering, as they say something and act something else. They do not want a government because void is better according to them, if they do not receive the price of the government. The most expensive price required: liberating Bassil from US sanctions and giving him guarantees regarding his political future in the post-Aoun presidency. Hezbollah, also prefers not forming a government, although it shows the public opinion that it is disappointed from its ally, the FPM, and that it wants a government today before tomorrow, but he also does not want a government. Hezbollah knows very well that the party becomes stronger whenever the state weakens, and the chances of the success of his strategic project are enhanced whenever the pillars of the republic crumble.

Therefore, we are facing a hellish scheme from Hezbollah and FPM to assault what remains of Lebanon, institutions and entities. At this time, people are losing the last elements of social resilience, and they stand humiliated every day in bakeries, pharmacies, and in front of gas stations. Our traitorous officials have turned our lives into hell, as they are selling every day and hour our country!
