Thanks to the Minister of Education and Higher Education for his plan to start a new academic year, where students have to attend their classes in-person.
This plan has addressed the educational challenges, but ignored other obstacles that fall on the shoulders of parents in terms of costs, transportation, and securing fuel, as if the minster lives on another planet, far away from Lebanon.
Solutions have become necessary, amid difficulties in implementing remote learning system, due to power cuts, and internet interruptions.
Between a minister who has made his decision to return to in-person learning, and the schools and parents who are raising their voices without any one hearing them, will the situation improve, or education will be limited to those who have the financial ability?
