Buenos Aires hosted the 10th Argentine Pizza Championship and the 2nd Pan Pizza America Championship, where different chefs compete in a series of techniques, from different types of pizza.
The competition revolved around making huge pizza dough, and performing gravity-defying dough-dancing techniques when tossed in the air. The tournament features 150 competitors from Mexico, the United States, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay, Haiti, Venezuela and Argentina.
The “Great Argentine Champion” will represent Argentina at the 2023 World Pizza Championship in Parma, Italy and the winner will collect $8,250 in prizes.
