The electricity file is being upgraded without long-term solutions. The latest data is that the caretaker Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, confirmed that the US administration was late in responding to the project to draw electricity from Jordan to Lebanon through Syria, pointing out that there are political reasons for delaying the project according to indications given by World Bank.
