The United Nations General Assembly is expected to vote today on a draft international resolution submitted by the European countries condemning Russia’s war on Ukraine and forcing it to withdraw from Ukrainian territory.

Sawt Beirut International sources indicated that this decision is not mandatory, but rather is an internationalt political position against the Russian invasion.

On the ground, the Ukrainian army announced that Russian airborne forces carried out an airdrop on Tuesday-Wednesday night in Kharkiv, eastern Ukraine, and attacked the military hospital in the second largest city in the country.

The army confirmed that its forces are engaged in a fierce fight against what it described as the invaders, announcing that dozens were killed or injured in a series of missile strikes launched by the Russian forces on the center of Kharkiv, which experts said were likely to have been targeted by cluster bombs.
