The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the unanimous verdict of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon against two agents of the terrorist Hezbollah militia, for their role in the terrorist attack that killed 22 people, including the late Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, and wounded 226 people.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards Lebanon and its brotherly people who suffer from the absurd terrorist practices of the Iranian-backed militia, and to work to implement international resolutions on Lebanon, and to track down the perpetrators who deliberately contributed to the loss of innocent lives, which caused unprecedented chaos in the country.
