Saudi newspaper: Bahaa Hariri is the first candidate for the Lebanese Parliamentary elections

Bahaa Hariri revealed in his first interview with the Saudi newspaper Al-Yaum that he is determined to run in the upcoming Parliamentary elections that will take place next May, as it is a pivotal point in Lebanon’s history, noting that the Lebanese people are demanding a new leadership that is not tainted by rampant corruption.

Hariri explained that his only ambition is putting his efforts to create a free, independent, and prosperous Lebanon that can take its correct place on the international scene. He pointed out that he was fortunate to help those who seek real and lasting change for Lebanon.

Bahaa Hariri welcomed the entire support provided to his country, especially the aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, praising at the same time Saudi Arabia’s permanent support for the Lebanese people. He added that the importance of arranging the Lebanese house is to ensure that this aid goes directly to the needy people, and not to corrupt bureaucrats.

On the other hand, Bahaa Hariri condemned the terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against civilians in Saudi Arabia, provided that it is provoking all international laws and positions.

It is noteworthy that Al-Yaum newspaper is one of the most important newspapers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf.
