Sheikh Bahaa Hariri said, on Twitter: “A country of armed militias can never unite and never succeed. The Lebanese army is the only force authorized to protect the people”.

He added: “Only by uniting around them can we rid the country of armed militias and create a united Lebanon. We fully support the Lebanese Army!”
