The Beautiful Time Festival in its fifth session honors singing and acting stars

The Beautiful Time Festival was held in its fifth session at the Ambassadors Hall in Casino du Liban, where a number of Arab and Lebanese singing and acting stars were honored. The ceremony was presented by Carla Haddad, and the artist, Tania Kassis, inaugurated the ceremony with the Lebanese national anthem, and a variety of her works.

Dr. Harach Sagbazarian, founder and president of the festival, gave a speech that began by welcoming the stars of the ceremony, stressing that “the festival today comes as an affirmation that Lebanon will not collapse, and it is the torch of art and culture in the Arab world and the Middle East.” Artist Hani Shaker, after receiving the festival’s honorary shield as an icon of Arab art, said: “Greetings to Lebanon and to the festival’s management headed by Dr. Harach, who is making tremendous efforts at a time when countries must do so to honor the artists of their beautiful time.”

For her part, the honored artist Safia Al-Omari, who took to the stage in tears, said: “Lebanon was a beacon of Arab art and media, and we considered it in Egypt the great studio.” The festival also honored Samira Abdel Aziz, Fadia Abdel Ghani, Sharifa Fadel and Nadia Lutfi.

And from Syria, the Almighty Hossam Tahsin Bey, and actress Nadine Khoury were honored. As for Lebanon, the festival honored Georgette Sayegh, Marie Suleiman, Maya Yazbek, Maryam Choucair Abu Joudeh, Abdullah Al Homsi, Youssef Fakhri, Madeleine Tabar, Khaled El-Sayed, Lilian Nimri, Wedad Jabbour and musician Mohy El-Din El-Ghali.
