The mother of the little girl, Juri Al-Sayed, who passed away yesterday, explained exactly what happened to her daughter and said, “She did not suffer from any diseases, whoever sees her thinks that she is two years old, not ten months old.” She cries bitterly. My daughter’s temperature rose because of her teeth. I went to the doctor, and she reassured me that there was nothing serious. I asked to take her to the hospital, and her answer was that there are no medicines in hospitals and no empty beds.
Then we went to pharmacies to get medicine for her, but all pharmacies were closed. One of the pharmacists told me that he would open the pharmacy for me at nine o’clock at night to give me the medicine, and indeed this is what happened and her temperature decreased, the next day she vomited, and her condition declined, then I called the doctor and asked to bring her, He vomited brown foam, we went to the Central Hospital, which did its duty to the fullest.”
Confirming to “Sawt Beirut International” reporter Sarah Shehadeh, “After my daughter vomited, some of it entered the lungs, and she no longer responded to the medicines. It was too late, she bled and left.”
She wondered, “Does it take all these mediations to get her to a hospital with a children’s care room, and for an ambulance to transport her? it is too late, my daughter will not come back.”
