The Iraqi market is open to Lebanese food commodities

The Ministry of Industry had earlier notified the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning of the decision to lift the ban on importing foodstuffs such as soft drinks of all kinds, juices, energy drinks, mineral water, and others.

Information to Sawt Beirut International indicated that the ban on importing foodstuffs has been lifted, according to the decision of the Iraqi Council of Ministers, and the Iraqi market will be opened again to Lebanese food commodities.

It is considered that this decision opens the Iraqi markets again to the relevant Lebanese products, which are able to compete with their counterparts from other sources, since the Lebanese industry, especially the food industries, is a sign of quality, and has proven its marketing capabilities in global markets with high requirements of conditions, standards and specifications. .
