With pain, heartbreak and anger, the mother of Joe Bou Saab, the martyr of the Beirut port explosion, said in front of the house of the Minister of Interior, Mohamed Fahmy, “We will demonstrate daily.”
She referred to the picture of her son that she holds in her hands, saying, “This is the love of my heart,” adding, “Only his SIM card was left from him in Gemmayzeh.”
Her tears betray her and her voice chokes.
“We buried two pieces of meat, I don’t know if they belonged to my son, and we are waiting for what Judge Al-Bitar will do. In the end, I promise that we will take down our weapons because we have nothing to lose. They killed our children, stole us and destroyed our country and we became under Iranian occupation.”
