In a warm neighborhood in the port city of Tripoli, there is a rest home for (elderlies) that has taken care of dozens of elderly people for many years. “Sawa for Lebanon” decided to approach and enter this house to provide a lot of assistance on different levels, and according to what the coordinator of “Sawa for Lebanon” Pascal Samman told the correspondent of “Voice of Beirut International,” Ghassan Farran, “we decided to provide food aid, cleaning and sterilization materials to the Christian “old-age” home  consisting of 45 people. Between residents and those who spend time there, ”she said,“ We ​​are greeted with a smile, and they happy to have us. ”

The director of the Christian” elderlies” Home, Samira Touma, spoke about the great attention the associations are granting  for the center and the activities that they carry out during the holidays, adding, “We strengthen the elderly, so that they feel at home.” “Those in charge of the center care a lot for us,” said an elderly woman

Sawa for Lebanon also held several activities, the last of which was on the anniversary of Mother’s Day,  Samman said, “We have decided to honor working mothers who are responsible for the “ elderlies” home or associations and others.”
