Victory of two deputies accused of port’s explosion raises victims’ families concerns.

Families of Beirut port’s victims, were frustrated as two deputies from Hezbollah’s allies, the former Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, and the former Minister of labor Ghazi Zuaiter, both of whom are prosecuted in the port explosion case, were re-elected, amid fears of obliterating the truth after they again obtained parliamentary immunity.
However, George says that the victims’ families received a morale boost from the victory of the opposition candidates.
And the families of the Beirut port victims have a special message from MP Melhem Khalaf, saying: “We want to form a political legislative oversight bloc in the House of Representatives.”
