A statement issued by the Manaqeesh and Marquq Bakeries Association in the South indicated the presence of “expired rotten merchandise,” and said: “Death merchants and those with dead consciences are infiltrating the southern regions with expired rotten merchandise that has been stored for more than six months and its expiration date has been erased
The statement warned all bakeries that “any bakery which uses this poisonous flour will be immediately reported to the security services and the ministries of health and economy, to take deterrent legal measures against it.”
