The town dries up in the reservoirs of its citizens, despite the donation of diesel fuel by partisan parties and town activities to operate the water pumps. The people woke up to the evaporation of diesel fuel, along with the water.
In protest against the water cut, the residents organized a protest sit-in in the town’s market and demanded the official authorities, led by the Municipal Council, to find a solution to this issue.
The mayor of Ain Dara, Maroun Badr, confirmed in a call with Beirut International that the water problem is the responsibility of the Water Authority.
To the water well and the pump, we went to inspect the place and there was a surprise.
