We have to say farewell for fish from our tables!

The fishermen’s nets have missed the salt of the sea, their brown foreheads are asking about the sun that no longer shines, their boats are resting in peace on the beaches, because like all Lebanese, fishermen are suffering from diesel outages.

Amid these hurdles Lebanese have to say farewell for fish from their tables. Citizens will lack fish which is rich in vital nutrients. The fishermen’s cries are greater than the sea itself.

Sawt Beirut International’s camera has captured the humiliation of fishermen while trying to fill their gallons with diesel fuel.

The sea is polluted, and neglected, and the fishermen are fighting to secure diesel. Will the state hear the cries of the fishermen this time?
