On the occasion of Christmas, businessman Sheikh Baha Rafik Hariri wrote on his Twitter page, saying: “We greet the Lebanese in general, and Christians in particular, on this blessed holiday.”

He added: “In view of the tough conditions that our beloved nation is facing, we pray that the birth of Jesus Christ would bring salvation, peace, and serenity to Lebanon.”
