Fighting corruption in Lebanon is a necessity for dealing with the country’s governance and economic crises. We agree with the view of the US Treasury group that visited Lebanon and emphasized the need of the Lebanese government implementing substantial and substantive changes before the elections.

He went on to emphasize what the delegation said about Qard Hassan, which the US described as a fake non-regulated financial institution that violates an NGO license granted by the Ministry of Interior and provides a cover for Hezbollah’s financial activity, threatening the credibility of the Lebanese financial system.
