Sawt Beirut International (SBI) reporter Ghassan Farran conveyed people’s anger from Al-Tleil Akkar.
People were removing the image of MP Asaad Dergham from the billboards, as they accused him of supporting George Rashidi, whom they hold responsible for what happened in the area.
“They killed our youth in the port, and they are killing it in the parliament, and in Akkar, unfortunately there is no state.”
“What happened is a horrific disaster, and none of the officials is ashamed,” a citizen said in a miserable tone. He called on the Army Commander to launch a military coup.
Anger is sweeping Akkar, and may expand in the coming hours.
